This was a piece of art that was created for the Artist Do Ho Suh which is exhibited in Liverpool for the Biennial festival, the worlds largest arts festival.
This is a 1 to 1 scale model of an existing house owned by the artist in South Korea which he use as a studio. Once Do Ho had chosen the site for the piece he chose the correct orientation of the house and away we all went. The piece was to look as if it had fallen from the sky and had wedged itself in between to other buildings. The piece was made from machined polystyrene and then treated to resemble all the different surfaces, it had to be an exact copy of the existing real house in South Korea.
